"I bought this in the summer of 2024 because there was a sale and I could get another one for free, and I was hoping to have a kid. Now, my kid is here and I just started using the carrier here and there. My baby likes to take a nap while he is in the carrier. my first tula was the explorer and i love it!

"i've tried baby carriers from other popular brands, but i still find myself coming back for Tula. It's well designed and durable. The explorer is still in good shape except that the large buckle is broken, and elastics are loose now. we have heavily used it for 3 years. now, we're back for free to grow!"

"Have used the Carrier for 5months now. Very comfortable for me and my baby. One star less because this carrier doesn’t come with lumbar support. Also, the website does not even suggest to add a lumbar support during check out. I had back pain initially while using this carrier. I had to order the lumbar support separately later with extra shipping charge for it. Hope Tula adds lumbar support for all carriers (not just the explore)."

Q&A

What material is this made of? Is this linen, cotton or something else? As I live in Curacao where it is always warm? Or is your linen carrier a better option for me?
The carrier itself is made of canvas cotton. The Coast panel in the centre of the back panel is a mesh fabric which is made of 100% polyester. The mesh material is more breathable and dries faster. However Linen being a natural fibre, also offers breath-ability. The Linen material is thicker however and may not seem as lightweight as the Coast.
